Nature and Culture of Phang Nga

This tour offers you many different experiences and impressions in one day.
First we drive to Ban Nam Khem, a fishing village in the north of Khao Lak, where we visit the Tsunami Memorial Park. This park is located at the beach, near the harbor. The monument is shaped like a wave and is to commemorate the victims of the 2004 tsunami.

Now we drive to the Sri Phang Nga National Park, after a short hike, we reach the most beautiful waterfall of Phang Nga, where you can take a quick swim – if you want.

Lunch at a local restaurant. The next highlight is a canoe trip through the so-called “Little Amazon”, a special experience here are the ancient Banyan tress, probably you will see animals like monkeys, mangrove snakes or herons.

Now we drive to the historic old town of Takuapa, where you will find relics from the time of tin mining, we visit a typical buddhist temple, as well as a chinese temple and walk through the historic old town, where time seems to stand still!
A day with many different impressions tends to end.

  • Lunch
  • Canoe at Little Amazon Area
  • Old Takuapa with two different temple
  • walk trough the historical street

17:00 – 17:30 Arrive at your hotel

 

Lunch: We offer our guests 4-5 different dishes and seasonal fruits to your liking. We appreciate individual preferences and requirements of our guests. Vegetarians and vegans are welcome!

Included: Transfers, Canoe, national park fee, lunch and soft drinks

What to bring: 2 Shorts, 2 T-Shirts, sun block, sunglasses, towel, swimming suit, trekking shoes or boots, camera
